The first half of the game was an earlier indicator of who was going to control the field for the next 80 minutes, however the halftime score line was no reflection.

The first Nordonia goal came in the 26th minute, when a free kick was dropped in the box and Nordonia found the back of the net. The second Nordonia goal came in the 12th minute, when a cross into the Falls box accidently hits a Falls player and goes into the back of the net, as an own goal. Falls finished the first half with 9 shots on goal and 5 corners kicks. Meanwhile, Nordonia only had 2 shots on goal and 0 corner kicks.

At half, “We kept things in perspective. No need to get excited. We just needed to fight with a little more heart between the pipes and put the ball away. We had plenty of opportunities… and will continue to have plenty of opportunities, but we need to execute.” Coach Ortopan commented.

Second half was the same story, but this time the half scoreline was more reflective. 45 seconds into the second half, Michael Brustoski served a ball into the box, where Mo Abdulhameed and Luke Feora worked together to get the job done. Luke Feora with the first goal of the second half. The second Black Tiger goal came from Luke Feora again in the 20th minute. With many opportunities, the score line would remain 2-2 for the remainder of the match.
